Top 10 Accessories for your Super73

Yep. This list could be longer but I’ll make it short and sweet. Here are my Top 10 accessories for your Super73 (with links) in no particular order.

  • POV camera
They say “content is king”. Slap a GoPro or Insta360 on your helmet, bike, chest, etc. while out riding. Serves a purpose when documenting your ride as well as safety, like a dashcam for your car. You don’t want to miss out on capturing an epic shot while hitting the pavement or trails.

  • Inner tubes
You never want to be left on the side of the road thinking, “wish I had an inner tube”. Doesn’t hurt to be prepared and carry a spare inner tube on your rides. A stray nail or thorn could end your fun day of riding.

  • Tools
If you’re out having an adventure, you won’t want to start your ride without tools. From allen wrenches to bike levers, it’s good to be prepared and have the rights tools handy.

  • Helmet
Brain bucket, full-face, mips, etc. you need to protect your head when riding these speeds. Depending on where you live, it’s required to wear a helmet for those under the age of 18. Don’t be a statistic and get yourself a good helmet.

  • Comms
Communication between riders during a group ride is crucial. Hand signals work but being able to talk in real-time for any hazards on the road or route changes keeps you and the squad safe. You can also pair it with your phone for music or taking any calls. My choice is SENA. They’re local in Irvine, CA and they make some of the best bluetooth devices out there for motorcyclists and beyond.

  • Lock
We hate to see it when someone posts that their bike was stolen. Get yourself a lock that fits your needs. Kryptonite is an industry leader and we also carry some in our shop. I personally use their lock and know it’ll take one heck of a time trying to break it to steal my bike.

  • Phone mount
We all know how attached we can be to our phones. You don’t want to miss that important call/text…I get it. This phone mount works on all Super73 models and secures your phone safely. Perfect for rides where you need to navigate new terrain or paths.

  • Pump
You can’t fix a flat without a pump. There are many out there from hand pumps to portable air compressors to CO2 cartridges. I recommend a portable air compressor that you can fit in your bag and easy to use.

  • Lights
You need lights, especially at night. If you have a Z1 or R, our friends at ShredLights have a solution for you. They’re durable and the battery life is very good. You can attach them to the handlebars, helmet, or fenders to light your way. Click the link below and use promo code DREWLOS for 10% off your order.

  • Gloves
If you’re planning to ride at night, during the cold weather months, or just to keep you dry, wearing the right gear will help keep you comfortable. Find gloves that fit you for cold and warm weather. I personally use HandUp and Chrome Industries gloves. Specialized for bike riders keeps your digits dry and warm.
