Get to know @electrick_raven
You might have known him as @kurisu_super73 in the past. Chris B. aka @electrick_raven has been an integral part of the Super Squad community and an even better friend. From his bike customizations, epic moto gear to his amazing artwork as @starvin_artist28, Chris is making moves in the two-wheel space. I first met him on a local ride here in Irvine, CA and we hit it off instantly. Let’s get to know him a bit more.
Tell us your story. What do you do off the bike that makes you happy?
CB: My first love is creating art. Ever since I was a kid I loved to doodle and sketch. I always loved watching cartoons and reading comic books as a kid. There are days where I just plug into some good music and I can spend hours just sketching away.
How & when did you find out about Super73?
CB: I actually just kind of stumbled across Super73 in 2018. I was in the market for 1970s cafe racer motorcycles and I think Super73 popped up in the related category. I came across Casey Neistat and Tristan Ervin’s Super73 reviews on YouTube I was sold and the rest is history.
How has the bike inspired you or changed your lifestyle?
CB: These bikes have definitely changed my way of living. When I first started riding, I used the bikes to commute to work and became my primary transportation during the summer lol. Then my first official group ride came, The LA Champion x Super73 ride things changed. Instantly you could feel the community, the vibe, and the excitement about these bikes. Riding with over 60-70 riders, I don’t remember the exact number, but it was nothing short of amazing. Instantly I connected with complete strangers over the love for these bikes. The community is a big part of why I love these bikes and the culture.
What modifications have you done to your bike(s)?
CB: Currently my mods are
S1- Handle Bar end mirrors, dual ammo can storage bins, Blur Boundaries Battery decals, Super73 extended seat and a set of Vee tire Speedster tires.
RX- Handle bar end mirrors, Blur Boundaries lower handlebars, seat, side plates and Battery/Front fork decals. Aftermarket 5.75” motorcycle headlight
S2- Handle bar end mirrors, Blur Boundaries Battery Decal, Aftermarket Cafe racer seat, bicycle bell, Super73 cup holder and a large Blackburn storage bag.
Are there any favorite routes or places to ride in your area?
CB: I guess if I had a choice it would be the Irvine to Newport ride that passes through Balboa because it was the by one the first routes I ever rode with a group and there is a ferry to ride along the way!
As always, have fun and ride safe.
