Why do you ride?

2020 brought us a lot of things. One big thing to mention is the bike boom. Yes, the pandemic brought us closer as we looked for ways to stay active with our families. Some rode solo using their bike as a tool for mental health and well-being. And others just for plain ole fun. C’mon…you still know how to do that.

Fun /noun/ enjoyment, amusement or lighthearted pleasure (“it was fun riding the Super73 this evening”).

Picture this. It’s the weekend and you have no plans. You worked from home all week and are itching to get outside. Scrolling through your Instagram feed you see people out and about riding their Super73’s near the beach, in their neighborhood, and on their local trails. With weather permitting, you can get out there and ride too, solo or with a small group of trusted people like the Super Squad. I read being active for 30 to 60 minutes can help your immune system keep viruses at bay. I mean, these sound like win-win to me.

But why do YOU ride? For some, it’s for fitness and recreation. Others might ride just to get some fresh air and be out of the house and away from your computer or phone. Some also like to ride in groups to be with friends or family and chat with them in-person rather than on messenger or zoom. You might even replace your vehicle altogether for your daily commute. This is where a Super73 thrives.

Born from the desire to inspire and create adventure and community, Super73 is an American lifestyle adventure brand fusing motorcycle heritage and youth culture.

Super73 is not just your typical electric bike company. They emphasize thoughtful design, responsible manufacturing techniques, local community engagement, and the brand continues to strive to grow and expand into a true industry leader.

I’m not here to sell you a Super73 (even it sounds like it) but these bikes do look great and have a lot of advantages. With some models in stock RIGHT NOW, you could order one and get riding as early as in seven days. Even your local dealer might have some models in stock professionally assembled and ready for you.

Cruising with the Squad

Talk to someone who owns/rides a Super73 and see if you can get a test ride. I guarantee you won’t be able to stop smiling after you get off the bike. It makes you feel like a kid again. It brings you closer to like-minded individuals that you might have not spoken to on the street. It creates this sense of freedom. It gets you out exploring new areas that you might not be able to get to on a traditional bike. It’s a head-turner. It gets you from point A to point B without having to get in and turn on your car. All that has been mentioned should give you a good idea if it’s the right fit for you. That’s why I ride.

As always, have fun and ride safe.

*Today officially marks my second year working for Super73. It’s been a crazy ride so far from meeting the team in a small warehouse in Tustin, CA to having over 70 employees globally with thousands of bikes in the wild. I still remember the day we took over the K1 Speed track. To see five Original 2016 bikes running the track put a smile on my face. Even back then I knew this brand (then Lithium Cycles) was special. Thanks to Aaron, Michael, and LeGrand for welcoming me into the Super73 family. And thank you to this wonderful community - Super Squad.
